As I am sure you have read elsewhere on our site, all our cats and kittens are precious to us and not only for my own piece of mind but also to uphold breeding ethics it is important to us to make sure potential owners of our Ocicats are prepared and understand about what is involved with the breed itself.
If you are looking for a cat that will be able to go outside then we aren’t the breeders for you. We could never let our kittens go to a home where there is an ever increasing risk of not only killed on the roads but also of theft. When we lost Oreo at such an early age we where devastated, and there is no way I would want anyone to experience the early death of a beloved pet due to a car, or for any reason. A cat will live a very long and happy life indoors. So please of you are l ooking for an outdoor cat then give one of the cats at a local animal sanctuary a chance for a loving family, Many of these cats have a little more road sense and have lived outside before. Our kittens are only suitable to live as indoor pets only.
