Humbug
Chocolatedot Humbug. Humbug was born on the 20th of August 2007.
We are very excited to be keeping Humbug, we had noticed her stunning pattern since she was born but did not realise we could keep her until she was 12 weeks old and our circumstances suddenly changed. Humbug was offered to go as a breeding queen along with her littermate but her littermate was chosen so Humbug was left without a home and then the offer of a new home for her mother Jenkka allowed us space to have a girl that we had bred ourselves. She is the daughter of Jenkka and Watusi and is our first ever home grown breeding queen! Was part of a stunning litter of which three out of four have gone on to breeding homes all around the world.
Humbug will be travelling across the country in mid august to go to visit her planned boyfriend. She is not able to see Watusi, as he is her father, and although we had planned to line-breed, going father to daughter is too close unless you need to test mate something. We expect kittens to be born in late October or early November, and I expect to have Black silvers and blues for most of the litter, but anything is possible! I am willing to export from this mating, but a deposit must be sent to reserve.
She has a good body shape with desirable ear tufts and a very cute surprised expression! At 8 months she still has minimal tarnishing, but this could possibly come in later. If she continues to develop well then she might have a show or two under her belt before she starts her breeding life, so watch this space! Humbug is very playful, and looks like she will take after her Auntie Kit, she has boundless energy and is always curious and looking in to things, she is fearless, and even the Hoover monster and the big bad bath does not scare her!
