Welcome to our Holiday apartment, we hope you find this site useful.
Situated at the Apollon holiday village, close to Altinkum, Turkey. There are a number of facilities on the site itself, several pools, a putting green, a Mini market, a Turkish bath and also a restaurant. The Apollon site also boasts 24 hour security for your piece of mind and also a manned reception desk. Local Transport is available and Tours and car hire can also be arranged.
The Apollon holiday village is situated 4 miles from the local town of Altinkum, where there is a family friendly safe beach and an Aqua park. Also in Altinkum there are many bars and restaurants, a weekly market and a range of shops. This is also where the local hospital is situated. There is a large Marina currently being built and is due to complete in 2010 and a Golf course is also in the planning stages. Apollon holiday village is situated 2 miles from the famous Apollon ruins.
Transfers from Bodrum Airport take approx 1 hour 15 minutes and from Izmir 1 hour 30 minutes. Transfers can be arranged by the staff.
Useful information
On arrival you will be met by Security who will let you in to the apartment. You will need to plug in all electrical appliances including the immersion heater in the bathroom, the hot water will take some time to heat. The beds will not be made up but the bedding that has been laundered will be available. Bedding for Sofa bed is under the Storage bed in the master bedroom.
The on site Restaurant will do takeaways.
We advise you to use Bottled water for Drinking.
Altinkum Market is on Saturdays.
The courtesy bus leaves from outside reception at promulgated times, you will need to ask about return times as these can vary.
The Dolmus bus from Altinkum to Soke will drop you at the end of the lane and cost 1½ lira, Look out for landmarks when approaching and Just shout at the driver to let you off, Watch out for sheepdogs in lane as they are not very friendly!!
All the restaurants in Altinkum will pick you up and take you home by arrangement, We recommend Pinochoes and Valentines, But they are usually all very good.
Migros is the local supermarket and the bus will drop you outside, But if you want anything British i.e. coffee, cornflakes, etc take it with you.
Aqua Park is approx four miles left as you leave the complex. The Dolmus to Soke drops off outside.
TV/DVD
To operate the TV and DVD1. Switch on at set and press red button on TV control.
2. To Change channels etc use SKY box remote.
3. To play DVD unplug sky box and plug in DVD player.
WASHING MACHINE
The washing machine is already set up Just load, put in powder and conditioner and press start.Any Problems with the apartment i.e. Equipment not working ask Sebnem or Warren at reception.
Please only use Black and White towels for the apartment and Coloured towels for Pool and Beach.
Vacating Apartment
On vacating apartment please1. Remove all plugs from electrical sockets.
2. Remove all items from fridge and leave door ajar.
3. Strip all beds used and leave bedding in hall for laundry.
4. Place all used towels in hall for laundry.
5. Remove cushions from chairs on balcony and place in lounge.
6. Close all doors.
7. Inform reception that laundry service is required.
8. Please advise us of any breakages so we can replace for next occupants.
9. Ensure all curtains are pulled closed, to stop sunlight fading the materials.
On your return Home please send the keys back to us by Registered Post.

The cost of using the apartment is £100 per week (to offset the cost of air conditioning and amenities charges) + £30 for cleaning and laundry.
